Wiley Joins Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA)

By Africa S. Hands

From Wiley Open Access Blog:

Wiley are pleased to join the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA).  We support OASPA’s goals of sharing knowledge and best practice, and developing sustainable OA publishing models.  OASPA represents the interests of open access journal publishers globally in all scientific, technical and scholarly disciplines and enables exchange of information, setting standards, advancing models, advocacy, education, and the promotion of innovation.

Wiley has had an open access offering for authors since 2004 in the form of OnlineOpen, a hybrid journal open access option.
