New Mobile Web Site: The College of Charleston Libraries "CougarCat"

From a C of C Announcement:

The College of Charleston Libraries are now in the palm of your hand with CougarCat, the library’s new mobile catalog. Offering access to more than half a million books, journals, video recordings, maps, musical scores, manuscript collections, and more, this mobile version of the website and catalog can be used on any browser-enabled phone or mobile device. College of Charleston is one of the first institutions to make this technology available.

Three Ways to Access CougarCat:

1. Direct to the Site Using: http://mcat.library.cofc.edu/

2. Automatic Redirect to the Mobile When Using a Smartphone by Entering the Primary Library URL: http://www.cofc.edu/library/

3. By Clicking "Library" on the C of C Mobile Web Site: http://m.cofc.edu
You'll also be redirected to the the C of C mobile site when using a smartphone and entering: www.cofc.edu

4. In the C of C Library, users can point their smartphone camera to QR codes located throughout the building and taken to the mobile site.

The College of Charleston Libraries web site (nothing to download) includes:

+ Access to CougarCat (OPAC)
Users can also save records to their device and/or email them.
