Czech Republic: Google Will Not Be Permitted From Taking Any New Street View Imagery

From an AFP Article:

Internet giant Google said Tuesday the Czech Republic's data protection authority had refused to allow further picture collection for its Street View map service in the central European country.

"Our request for registration for future picture collection and processing in the Czech Republic within the Street View service was not met," Simon Rakosnik from the Grayling public relations company which represents Google said in a statement.

"Naturally, no new photo documents will be collected until this affair is settled with the Czech Data Protection Office," he said, adding he expected the issue to be resolved "in the near future."
