U.S. Federal Government: An E-Mail and/or RSS Alert To Learn When Legislation is Sent from Congress to the President
There are numerous alerting and tracking services both web-based, and client based that makes it easy to track topics, specific pages, or even specific parts of pages, and then be alerted in one of several ways when there is a change/update.
Today, on the newLaw Librarians of Congress Blog (In Custodia Legis) Andrew Weber has a post about using alerts from THOMAS to learn when legislation (that has been passed by both houses of Congress) is sent to the President Obama for his signature or veto.
Weber specifically mentions this RSS feed and/or E-Mail alert to learn when the legislation is on its way to the White House.
But that's not all, The Law Library of Congress offers many RSS and/or e-mail alerts. For example, you can receive the Daily Digest portion of the Congressional Record and/or a list of the Top 10 bills searched for using THOMAS during the past week.
