Another Exclusive "Kindle Only" Title from Amazon.com & A Brief Review of Other Amazon Exclusives

There has been a LOT of talk in recent weeks about a deal between the Wylie Agency and Amazon.com that will provide exclusive electronic (e-book access for two years) to Amazon for some very well-known titles from some very well-known and respected authors. It wouldn't be a surprise to see more exclusive titles since a review of the Wylie client list shows MANY more possibilities.

Today, Jeff Bezos and company announced that for one year a new book (currently only available in electronic form) from Monster.com and written by Doug Hardy, "Six Fundamentals to Building a Lifelong Career," will be another Amazon/Kindle exclusive. The book sells for $7.99.

Over time and with more and more e-book readers coming into use, will reference publishers decide to make their content exclusive and perhaps optimized for a specific device?
