Presentation: My Digital Library: Leveraging Today’s Mobile and Participatory Information Ecosystem

Earlier today at Digital Libraries à la Carte 2010 at Tilburg University in the Netherlands, Kristin Purcell from Pew Internet & American Life presented, "My Digital Library: Leveraging Today’s Mobile and Participatory Information Ecosystem"

The international course is offered each summer by the Tilburg Innovation Centre for Electronic Resources, or TICER. Kristen will share data on the growing mobile landscape both globally and in the US, highlight key aspects of today’s changing information ecology, and explore with librarians how they can leverage these two trends in their work.

Not only is the presentation useful to read but it will also be a useful resource to either find statistics or get an idea of what's available.

Primary Topics of Discussion:

1) What's Mobile Got to Do With It

2) Highlights of the New Information Ecology

3) Leveraging New Technologies

85 slides.
