Yorba Linda, CA Public Library Will Join Other Libraries and Offer Free Music Downloads With Freegal

Patrons of the Yorba Linda Library will soon be able to download tunes from Sony Music's massive catalog, which includes artists from Simon and Garfunkel to Christina Aguilera.

Although the bookshelves at the Yorba Linda Library remain stocked and full, the libary is increasing its online offerings.

Anyone with a computer and a Yorba Linda library card will be able to download up to three songs a week, or 12 songs a month in mp3 [DRM free] through Freegal, which should be up and running on the library's website in August.
