We often post highlights from reports published by Primary Research Group but this time Primary is asking for your help. For those interested and qualified, if the survey linked herei is completed (50 questions, estimated 15-20 minute of your time), Primary Research will send you a full text copy of the report when it's released.
Primary Research Group, Inc., a publisher of surveys, monographs and research reports, is planning to publish a new edition of Corporate Library Benchmarks, a survey of corporate and other business libraries. Corporate, university and regulatory agency/int'l org sector business libraries that participate receive a free pdf copy of the report when it is published. Corporate and business libraries from all nations are welcome to participate. Scientific libraries of major corporations also qualify.
Your institution will be listed as a participant but the information that you provide is absolutely confidential; all data is amalgamated in a statistical package; no data is presented for individual institutions. The report will enable your library to compare its practices with those of similar libraries in North America, Europe, Australasia and elsewhere.
The best individual (s) to fill out the form is the person (s) that have the most knowledge about your library's technology and acquisitions practices.
The survey has 50 questions. Your institution must complete at least 75% of the questions relevant to your institution in order to qualify for the free copy.
