Ryerson University is located in one OUR MOST FAVORITE CITIES, Toronto, Ont, Canada. The Ryerson Library web site is visually appealing and offers the following top-level resources:
+ Library
This section of the mobile site provides access to:
+ The Library Catalogue.
+ Manage Your Library Account
+ Phone, Email, and Library Hours
+ An Audio Library Tour (.mp3 file)
+ Profile (Log Into Your Personal Account Info)
+ Searchable Directory of Students, Faculty, Staff. Also, search by Department
+ Book a Room, Find a Open Computer (Real-Time Updates)
+ University News and Events
+ Campus Map Where You Select a Location and A "Pin" is Placed in that Spot
+ About Page (Descriptions of Each Service)
We hope that mobile access to serials and eBooks are on the way. The same for the AskOn (Ontario's virtual reference service.) We like the audio tour download feature quite a bit. Easy to use and allows students on their own (no schedule required) the chance to put on their headphones (they probably have them on already) and learn the layout of the library. Well done!
