National Library Week 2010 is Underway! Honorary Chairperson Neil Gaiman's NLW Webinar Set for Tomorrow

Happy National Library Week (NLW)!
Tomorrow, from 6pm-8pm EDT, NLW Honorary Chairperson, Neil Gaiman's live webinar appropriately titled, "An Evening with Neil Gaiman" is scheduled to occur. You can view the webcast several ways including what is likely to be the most popular option, viewing it (free) from any location with an Internet accessible computer and the correct software.

Tuesday (April 13th) is National Library Workers Day. Included on the website you'll find a podcast; poster (downloadable); and read profiles of library workers from around the country in the "Galaxy of Stars."

National Bookmobile Day is Wednesday (April 14th). The Twitter hashtag is #NBD2010. A National Bookmobile Day page on Facebook is also online. About 520 "fans" at the moment.

Also on Wednesday, April 14th, ALA’s Office for Intellectual Freedom is releasing “Top 10 Most Challenged Books of 2009." Frequently Challenged Book List.
