New Mobile Web Site: Boise St. University

Yesterday, the Adelphi University Libraries announced they released the first version of their mobile web site.

Today, we head west to gorgeous Boise, ID, home of Boise St. University, the Boise St. Broncos, and their outdoor stadium's "smurf turf." Yes, the color of the field is actually blue. See it/Read about it here.

The news from Boise St. today is that Albertsons Library has recently released a "beta preview" of their mobile web site.

No downloads are required. You can access the mobile interface at:
http://library.boisestate.edu/m.

You'll Find Access to (viewed with an iPhone):

+ Library Hours

+ WorldCat Local

+ Databases (Including EBSCOHost Content)

+ Searchable Database of Journal Titles and Info

+ An Continuously Updating Chart--How Busy is the Library Computer Center?

+ Help and a Link to the Full Web Site

A very solid first release. The main issue, which could be be fixed easily, several ways, is making users click to learn what a database contains. Just like the mobile journal finder can really save time, a mobile database finder might also work.
