Clicker Enhances Its "Search Within" Feature

Clicker is one of our favorite web resources. It's a searchable and browsable directory of video (from network shows to university lectures) that are available on the web. You'll also find links to video content that you can stream or download from Netflix and Amazon.

The Clicker blog now reports that they've enhanced their "search within" feature.

From the Blog Post:

Search Within has been an important feature on Clicker since our November 12 launch, letting you narrow the episodes within a show guide to just those that match the terms in your search. (Like searching for “Warren Buffett” within Charlie Rose.) Now we’ve expanded Search Within to let you search for more types of information – for example, a certain character name, recipe or punchline – in more places on Clicker, from categories like Comedy to media pages like TV or Movies.

The remainder of the blog posts includes:

+ A Video Demo
+ Search Within a Show
+ Finding Interview Guests
+ Finding Recipes

In Other Clicker news, the Los Angeles Times Discusses a Customized Version of Clicker Built for the UCLA Community. The hope is that this version of Clicker will help combat piracy.
