Impressive! Bing Launches iPhone App

Now all three (Google, Yahoo, and now Bing) have iPhone apps. You can download (free) from the app store.

What to expect (via Bing Blog):

1) Voice Search (Something all Three Apps Now Offer).
Works for Map As Well as Web Search. You Can also get "Fast" Results. Try "San Diego Weather."

2) Image Search (Clean and Crisp Results Pages)

3) Movie Search (Begins with Locations Near You, You can Always Change Location.

4) News Search

5) Business Search (Based on Your Location, Unless You Change It). Note that You Might See Ads at the Top of the Results Page

6) Bing Maps But No Aerial or "Bird's Eye Imagery at the Moment. Driving and Walking Directions; Distance and Estimated Time.

7) Same Cool Home Page Imagery, Click to See Related Images

8) More Options to Set (Look at the Bottom of the App, Right Side)
A) Safe Search
B) Units: Metric or Imperial
C) Screen Rotation: On or Off
D) Clear Search History

Overall, a very impressive go of it for Bing iPhone 1.0. Welcome!

Another positive review for the new app. Greg Sterling also points out two features we missed, predictive search suggestions and search history.
