YouTubeX Domain Now Registered to Google
As this article from 2006 points out, YouTubeX was a service, not endorsed by YouTube/Google that allowed users to download and save YouTube content. Here's what the page looked like on August 9, 2007. We've noticed that in the past couple of weeks the domain is now registered to Google. It was first registered to Google using a Seattle address and as of this week it's now registered using the Mt. View address. The site currently returns no content.
