ResourceShelf's Virtual Magazine / Serial Newsstand #1
Note: Visit any large bookstore or neighborhood newsstand (if you're fortunate to have one) and you'll constantly see new periodicals. Yes, even in this electronic age, people still want and love paper.
What follows is a brief, selective list with links to some periodical web sites (and related content) that we haven't mentioned before. Most of these publications have been around for a period of time but have escaped mention here. In a nutshell, three types of sites exist:
1) Some/all of the text is available in other cases with or without bonus content.
2) Gobs of bonus "web only" content can be accessed (often for free).
3) Only overview/subscription info.
We hope this list (the first in a new ResourceShelf collection) proves useful. More to come.
