+ NTIA Renews Neustar Contract to Manage .us Internet Domain Name

+ Just Released: TripIt (via TechCrunch)
More to say soon on this one.
Thanks to Pete for the tip.

+ Top Mobile Applications 2007 (via Firece Wireless)
Most are downloabable apps and will work on some mobile tools. A few offer web-based demos. The Live Search App from MSFT and Sprint made the list.*

Other apps making the list:
+ 3jam SMS 2.0
+ Anthem (Mobile Social Networking)
+ Digby (Mobile Commerce for the Blackberry)
+ ESPN MVP
+ Fast Flirting
+ GetMobio
+ MC Notify
+ MyCorner
+ ZenZui

Quick comment: We regulary hear from a steady stream of readers who use laptops and/or mobile phones from their employers. Yes, they are free but we also hear (try, daily) that they are not allowed to download any apps on these devices and when it comes to mobile, we have heard from a few people that they get very limited data plans.

* Sprint and Ask.com have a GPS info/search tool. Learn more about the service here.**
