The image that's visible in the "widget box" does not auto-refresh. You can refresh the page yourself. However, a link to access a live image (images refresh at different rates depending on location) can be found available directly below the widget image box.
Update: TrafficLand is a powerful tool. However, they offer just the tip of the traffic cam iceberg. Many more live feeds from various cities and states are available. We've listed many in the Real-Time and Web Cam collections.
