WSJ.com Adds Article Recommendations, Biz Tech Blog, Portfolio E-Mail Containing Charts Accessible in Excel, and More

Here's a brief rundown. It will be interesting to see what, if anything, News Corp. does with the WSJ.com. Will they continue to charge a subscription fee or add more and more free content, eventually, removing the subscription charge? These days you can find a sizeable portion of WSJ fee-based content on the Dow Jones MarketWatch site.

+ Just Like Amazon.com: Article Recommendations (aka People Who Read This ... Also Read These Stories)
Look for these links on the right side of every article page on WSJ.com.

+ New Business Technology Blog
Available free to non-subscribers like all WSJ blogs.

+ New Free Email Newsletters for Law Blog and Deal Journal
Again, the content itself is free. It also shows, in our opinion, that while all WSJ blogs have RSS feeds, email is still an important an essential tool for many web users.

+ Additions/Enhancements to WSJ "Most Popular" Lists
++ See Most Popular in Each Major Sections (Markets, Technology, Personal Journal, Weekend & Leisure and Opinion)
++ New List: Most Popular Videos
++ New: List of the Most Popular Blog Posts
Subscription required.

+ Personal Portfolio Email
Have your portfolio emailed to you up to three times a day. You can also opt to have the portfolio sent as a xls or csv attachment so you can easily open it in Excel.
Subscription required.
