Review a Recent Presentation and then Do Some Searching with Scitopia.org

SciTopia is a new (beta) federated search tool with content coming from 15 scholarly organizations. We first posted about it in April.

This presentation (PDF) from IEEE's Karen Hawkins offers a preview and background. The presentation was given earlier this month at the SLA Annual Conference. Scitopia's slogan is:
Integrating Trusted Science + Technology Research.

Ready to give it a whirl? Head to Scitopia.org and run a few searches. Remember, it's a beta release. Btw, the search technology comes from Deep Web Technologies. Their tech also powers Science.gov. Expect to read a full review about Scitopia in the next few weeks.
