Ready Reference Shelf: What Time is It? Accessing the Precise Time by Telephone & Other Tools
A number of tools are available to sync your computer to the official U.S. clock or those from other nations. For example, you could download a very small piece of software from NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and your computer always have the correct time. In fact, some operating systems have a built in client you can use. Want others with various features? Here are a bunch of freeware tools via SnapFiles.com (a great site for shareware and freeware). You could also do it manually by visiting the Time.gov site.
OK, so that takes care of your computer. What about the clock in your car the clock above the stove in the kitchen? Feel free to add where clocks are located around your home or office here. :-)
