Mobile Web: 4INFO Adds Free Major League Baseball Player Alerts
The number of free alert services (using SMS) from 4INFO continues to expand with the release of MLB player alerts for every player in both leagues. The service is free. Of course, your wireless plan may charge for SMS-delivered content.

4INFO's MLB Player Stat Alerts include:

* For hitters:
o Set alerts for hits, runs, RBIs, HRs, and/or stolen bases
o Set alerts for roster status, injury, or bereavement
* For pitchers:
o Set alerts for strikeouts, earned runs, and/or walks
o Set alerts for roster status, injury, bereavement, or departure from game

Sign up for 4INFO's MLB Player Stat Alerts by texting your favorite player name and the word "alert" (ex: "Barry Zito alert") to 4INFO (44636), or by visiting http://www.4info.net/alerts/add/stats to customize your player alert.

For live baseball scores and alerts, text the team name (e.g., "Giants") to 44636. 4INFO also provides services for the NBA, NHL, PGA, NFL, NCAA Basketball, and NCAA Football.
