Note: In addition to using the service described in the article, several other options exist. Here are a few of them.
Opera
Attach a nickname to any bookmark. Go to Bookmarks...Manage Bookmarks...Select Bookmark...Right Click...Select Properties...Add "Nickname"

Also, one click access (using a letter(s) to search tools). Click Tools...Preferences, Search. Add a search tool, shortcut, and/or code. One click to run a search from the address bar.

Firefox
Add a nickname to any bookmark. Bookmark...Organize bookmarks...Right-click on bookmark name, select properties, enter keyword in keyword box.
+ Add just about any database to the Firefox Search Bar with two clicks (no coding needed) using Add to Searchbar.

Internet Explorer
Add a shortcut by selecting Favorites...Organize Favorites...Select Bookmark...Right Click...Select Properties...enter shortcut keys. You can also quickly add many search tools to the IE search box by using this form.
