The Functional Glycomics Gateway is a collaboration between the Consortium for Functional Glycomics and NPG. It provides news, research data, databases and reagents resulting from the Consortium's activities and is supplemented with an editorial section, updated monthly, of glycobiology research relevant to cell biologists, biochemists, and structural biologists.
The Pathway Interaction Database (http://pid.nci.nih.gov) is an authoritative, peer-reviewed collection of information about
biomolecular interactions that occur in human cellular signaling pathways. Created in a collaboration between the U.S. National Cancer
Institute and NPG, the database is aimed at cell biologists, biochemists, computational biologists and bioinformaticians. It offers
a range of intuitive tools to allow users to easily search, view and download data, and complex queries can be created to further explore the
database. A concise editorial section provides synopses of recent important research articles and specially commissioned articles on the
practical use of other relevant online tools.
