Your Personalized Exalead Home Page is Now Transportable
We have been impressed with Exalead for quite some time and have posted about it often. For the advanced searcher this engine offers numerous tools (proximity searching for example) you don't find elsewhere. Our most recent Exalead post from about a month ago discussed its new look and some new features. However, we forgot to mention an important one.
Our only complaint back then was that your personalized page was only available on one computer, you couldn't take it to another computer.
Well, that has now changed. Simply create an account, login, and your personalized Exalead page is available from any web computer. Nice job!
The sad news is that at the moment (at least) there is no help documentation and a key bookmarkimg/search feature are missing.
Postscript: Exalead has always had a French language interface but we've also just noticed Exalead Germany. However,the page is in English. Perhaps a German UI is in the works.
