Search Briefs: Yes, It Might Be Gone from YouTube But Not From Other Services; Skype as Your RSS Reader

+ Just like many incorrectly believe that if you remove a text from the web it's gone, the same is true (perhaps at this point even more accurate) with video. If a video clip is removed from YouTube it doesn't mean it's off the Web. Hardly. In recent days we've read about YouTube taking down content from The Colbert Report, The Daily Show, and South Park. However, a quick and dirty search of Google Video still shows numerous clips from these programs still online. 1 ||| 2 ||| 3. We also quickly found material from these programs on Veoh,
MySpace, and Grouper.

Note: Yes, you can access lots of Colbert material on Yahoo Video but in most cases they do not host the material.
