The World eBook Fair is Online, More than eBooks Hit the Web, More than 500,000 Books (All in PDF); Over 5000 Books for the Mobile Web, Too!
The World eBook Fair took place in July offering access to more than 330,000 FREE full text books, all in PDF format, all ready for downloading, bookmarking, sharing. More than 30 million PDF eBooks were downloaded during July.
Another World ebook Fair will begin on October 1st (this Sunday). The fair is sponsored by The World eBook Library Consortia that offers these materials year round for a small fee.
From a news release:
Two dozen additional electronic book collections from around a world in ever increasing Internet contact have joined with the 100+ electronic libraries collections that comprised The First World eBook Fair to create a collection of over 400,000 eBooks that will be available for free downloading starting Sunday on the first of October.
Also, 5,000 Mobile Books will be available for mobile web users.
