We said the other day that we will continue to post new and interesting mobile web resources on the site. Here's one.
WAMPAD, a mobile portal. It gathers a ton of services and makes them mobile web ready. Simple, easy to use and personalize. Resources include:
+ Mobile Internet Movie Database (Something IMDB doesn't offer on its own)
+ Mobile Digg
+ Mobile MySpace
+ Mobile FlickR
+ Mobile USPTO
+ Ability to Read RSS feeds. Search using Feedburner feeds. We would love to see Topix.net here. Not only great selection of sources but also localization by entering Zip or Postal Code. Also, Bloglines Mobile would be useful. Technorati is listed. Cool.
+ Flight Tracking (Note: The service we listed the other day offers many more airline choices)
+ Search (via MSN or Google)
Overall, great selection of features in one place. Excellent help page. One suggestion: Ability to select transcode service (IYHY, Skweezer, etc.). Finally, since WAMPAD does such an impressive job organizing and converting content for mobile, links to Winksite and XFruits would be useful to help users make their own feeds mobile ready.
