SearchforVideo Brings Back Video Podcast Directory

Readers of ResourceShelf know that we're big fans and regular users of SearchforVideo.com. It's easy to use and aggregates in a rapid manner video from a wide variety of sources. We regularly find clips that we don't either find 1) anywhere else or 2) before we find them in similar types of databases.

TODAY, we've learned that beginning tomorrow SFV is bringing a tool that aggregates video available for iPod viewing. Their podcast feature first launched in March 2006 went offline a few months later. Very exciting that it is returning. You'll find the new site here.

As we've also mentioned twice in the past week, Guba.com allows user submitted content to be viewed and downloaded in iPod format (free).

The introduction of a video podcast directory will make it easier for users to discover new video podcasts and download them for viewing on a portable media device.
