From the Press Release: "U.S. Secretary of Transportation Norman Y. Mineta today released a new study predicting which airports and communities will need to expand their capacity by the year 2020. Speaking at a news conference in Atlanta, the Secretary said airports in growing cities like Las Vegas, Tucson, Albuquerque, Birmingham and Palm Beach will need to expand their ability to handle more air passengers over the next 16 years. He also listed dozens of projects underway to meet that growing demand for air travel, and urged more communities to get involved now in the push to add capacity." From the Press Release: "There are 9.8 million cancer survivors in the United States, according to a new report released today by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Cancer Institute (NCI). A cancer survivor is defined as anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer, from the time of diagnosis through the balance of his or her life. The findings are published in the June 25 issue of CDC's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, 'Cancer Survivorship - United States, 1971 - 2001.'" Read the Report
