From the article, "The Los Angeles County Museum of Art has opened a gallery for the virtual visitor, making 10,000 of its works available on the Internet. Collections Online, part of the museum's Web site, is a digital archive that offers tastes of everything from 13th century Islamic art to antique evening gowns. Also available are 175,000 records from the art research library, Andrea Rich, museum president and director, said Friday."
