"A University Library Creates a Virtual Walk Through Tin Pan Alley"
From the article, The [Mississippi State] University's library is digitizing and conserving the collection, an archive of about 22,000 pieces of ragtime, blues, show-tune, and war-song folios from the 1890s to the Great Depression. Charles H. Templeton, a businessman from Starksville, Miss., bequeathed the sheet music to the university before
his death last year.

From the news release, "EBSCO Subscription Services and ISI� have announced a linking agreement that will provide researchers another avenue of access to quality scholarly information. Users will soon be able to link from the ISI Web of Science� to the full text of articles contained on EBSCO Online�. Completion of the links is expected by December 2001.

From the news release, "ProQuest Company has signed a Definitive Agreement to sell its Bell & Howell North American Mail and Messaging Technologies business to Chicago-based Glencoe Capital, a private equity investment firm. Also included in the sale are Bell & Howell Scanners, a manufacturer and marketer of document scanners, and Bell & Howell Financial Services, an equipment leasing concern. All of these businesses will continue to operate under the Bell & Howell name...ProQuest Company will now be comprised of two businesses: Information and Learning and Publishing Services.
