"Microsoft and RealNames Announce Registration and Navigation Services for the UDDI Inititative"
Portion of news release of greatest interest to the searcher, "In addition, users can now also search the UDDI Business Registry by typing the Keyword phrase UDDI, followed by a company name or portion of a company name, into the address bar of Internet Explorer (for example: UDDI Corp). The results will display a complete listing of all the ways businesses with Corp in their company name are identified within the UDDI Registry." More info via this Reuters story.

Roy Tennant's latest column for LJDigital is also online It's titled, "The Copyright War". From the column, "Copyright as we presently know it is dead. To be specific, copyright law as it currently stands is not only unenforceable, it is widely perceived by the general public as overly protective of publishers and, to a lesser extent, creators. Thus, even as copyright law is strengthened in the legislatures and the courts, it is dead to many in our society."
